![]() This can occur even if the celebrity is of an occult life state themselves. If a celebrity WooHoos with an occult life state, they may get the Publicly Disgraced moodlet. These life states include normal Sims, ghosts, vampires, genies, werewolves, witches, and fairies. With Supernatural, players are able to create some occults with a Supernatural Type selector in Create a Sim. Prior to The Sims 3: Supernatural, Ghost was not considered an occult status according to the game files. Official game text recognizes certain kinds of life state as "occult", and occult Sims cannot be given makeovers by stylists. The Sims 3 and its expansion packs feature 15 life states. The Sim who has been "charmed" is still a normal Sim the charm only affects the Sim's appearance and does not affect the way the Sim behaves or the way other Sims react to him/her, and the Sim gains no extra abilities or interactions.įamilies of The Sims 3 life states (except for normal Sims) up to Late Night. While players may choose to treat this as a temporary transformation or an illusion, the in-game effects are the same either way. This charm allows a Sim to temporarily change his or her appearance, and some of the available choices resemble life states from later games, such as werewolves and vampires. In Makin' Magic, one of the charms that can be made is Beauty or Beast. Sims who take up magic still look and act the same, and the term "witch" is not used. It could be said that witches come with Makin' Magic, but being magical is not treated as a life state in that expansion. Also in Livin' Large, Sims using the chemistry set might make a purple potion that can temporarily turn a Sim into a monster. If Unleashed is installed, these zombies can also be restored by Miss Lucille, who can be found on community lots in Old Town, though she cannot restore their personalities. In Livin' Large, pleading with the Grim Reaper may result in him bringing a recently deceased Sim back as a zombie. I did not add any skill/career multipliers as the trait is insanely overpowered in the long run.Two alternate life states exist in The Sims and its expansions, though they are not well-defined and do not grant any changes in a Sim's behavior. (Being immortal has got to be such a drag) I added some additional moodlets to the trait for some flavor as well.Īngry when in the presence of a ghost. They're the ultimate counter to gloomy sims and tragic clowns alike. (I noticed that if it's your first time adding the trait to a sim their voice won't change till AFTER they leave the CAS)Įmotional Immunity - Reaper's are never sad nor can they become sad. Grim's Voice - The reaper's unique voice will be applied to sims with this trait. Grim's Walk Cycle - Sims with this trait will hover and leave behind a black trail of smoke where ever they go. Motive Freezing - Just like the actual grim reaper sims with this trait will only need to worry about their social/fun need. Immortality - Sims with this trait CANNOT die nor do they age. I decided to take matters into my own hands and create a trait that emulates some of his behaviors.Ĭurrently this trait applies the following effects to sims. Originally I wanted the grim reaper to join one of my households but when I learned he couldn't woohoo/date/kiss without losing his special effects I was heart broken. These sims are quite similar to their patron, Death. I am actively working on a version of the trait that is a selectable lifetime reward however I'm uncertain how long it will take. I personally still use it because it's quite handy. Your sim should now have the trait assigned to them, you do not need to keep clown's mod installed after you assign the trait. Scroll down the list until you see Reaper then select it. Select the "Cheat Sim Info." bubble then select the "Add Trait." bubble. You'll need to install the mod listed above then shift+left click the sim whom you want to assign the trait to. If you're using the (Hidden) version of the trait you'll need to assign the trait manually. It requires the use of Clown's mod located here > Reaper (Hidden): Is a very quick and dirty fix for those who want only a few select sims with the trait and not a whole town. Be warned townies can be assigned this trait so you might see some randomly generated reapers. Reaper's Apathy will occur more often and also had it's emotional intensity increased. Reaper (Updated): Is the updated version of the trait. Added an additional flavor of the trait and buffed Reaper's Apathy to actually be more of a nuisance.
